HBT – Herringbone Twill. The fabric the U.S. military chose for work and combat in the early 1940s. The P-41 was standard issue for the Marine Corps from 1941, worn across the Pacific and beyond. Heavy, structured cotton with a tight herringbone weave built to take punishment. One of the most honest pieces of American military clothing ever made.
